CONSTRUCTION OF A PRIVATE HOUSE

Wood, stone and glass shape the profile of this beautiful house. They tell a story – that of a way of building that respects regional tradition: the dry-stone walls are its raw expression. Today, the whole art of building a house in the Basque Country lies in combining neo-Basque style with contemporary design. Running continuously between inside and outside, these walls create a privileged face-to-face with the landscape.
The traditional references of this house do not prevent generous, light-filled volumes, a contemporary contribution brought by high-end materials and environmentally friendly construction methods.

The bespoke furniture is also an integral part of the project: it was designed to be in perfect harmony with the whole house and to suit the occupants’ way of life.
